When we’re feel stressed, our body responds by releasing hormones that increases our blood pressure and raises our heart rate. This is called the stress response. Relaxation techniques can help our body to relax and lower our blood pressure and heart rate. Relaxation can help us:

- Boost energy
- Gain a sense of calmness and confidence

- Feel calmer during IVF/ Fertility
Let me tell you a little SECRET …
Relaxation can also help with weight loss. When we’re stressed we produce cortisol. Too much cortisol favours fat storage instead of using fat for energy, and will store it in the abdominal area. Abdominal fat also has more cortisol receptors so you can actually produce more stress. So more fat equals more stress, which equals more fat and so on. So we need to calm the mind and reduce cortisol.
